This Privacy Policy and its Cookies Statement (“Privacy Policy”) describes which kind of information Signers Technology LLC (“PayOnTerm”, “we”, “us,” or “our” as applicable) collects about you (“you”, “yours”, “User” or “Visitor”, as applicable) through the www.payonterm.com website and its relates sites, including, the PayOnTerm Blog (collectively, the “Website”), and explains how we collect, use, disclose and process such information. Your use of our Website and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Privacy Policy and the Website Terms, including their applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes. All terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as on the Website, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy. Other privacy policies, such as those of the third-party service providers that we contract for specific services and functionality, shall also apply to this Privacy Policy.

  • Personal Information
Personal Information means every kind of data that could be used (in an individual or combined manner) to identify an individual or permit a specific individual to be contacted physically or online. We only collect the Personal Information you choose to give us, for instance, by completing a Contact request, sending us an email, or subscribing to newsletters or mailings list. We will use that information to respond to your message and to help us get you the information or services you have requested. Personal Information we may collect is: your first and last names, email address, type of account, business name, and country/region/city. You can choose not to provide certain information, but we might not be able to respond to your message accurately. Also, you might choose to include more Personal Information when you use certain services of our site or send us an email. In such a case, remember that email isn’t necessarily secure. We will not share Personal Information except (i) to render the Website services, (ii) as authorized by you, (iii) as may be required Applicable Law, or (iv) it has been specifically set forth herein. We do not sell Personal Information, nor any other data.  
  1. Children’s Privacy
Neither the Website nor our third-party service providers address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personally Information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

When you visit our Website and use its services, the Website server may generate a file with a small amount of data (“cookies”) on your device. We employ a variety of third-party web tools for analytics and support. We use these tools to collect information about the visits to the Website. This information is then used for, among others, monitoring site stability, measuring site traffic, optimizing site content, and may help make the site more useful to visitors.
  • Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA) (“Google”). Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the Website’s use, prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. This information may be transmitted to Google and stored on their servers in the United States of America. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the Website. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Google may transfer this information to third parties, if required by law or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google.   • Amazon Web Service CloudFront
Amazon CloudFront is a web service provided by Amazon Web Services, Inc., (P.O. Box 81226, Seattle, WA 98108-1226, USA), that speeds up the distribution of static and dynamic Website content, such as .html, .css, .js, and image files, to our visitors. CloudFront delivers the Website content through a worldwide network of data centers. When a user requests content that is served with CloudFront, the request is routed to the edge location that provides the lowest latency (time delay), so that content is delivered with the best possible performance. If the content is already in the edge location with the lowest latency, CloudFront delivers it immediately. If the content is not in that edge location, CloudFront retrieves it from an Amazon S3 bucket (where we have hosted our assets for the website) or an HTTP server (in our case, our production web servers in Rackspace) that has been identified as the source for the definitive version of the content. CloudFront captures information about each request that includes system logs which captures the following information: IP address, lat/long of the server which served the request, country and date and time.   • YouTube videos
We have integrated YouTube videos (a service provided by Google, Inc.) into our Website, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user will be transmitted to YouTube, if you do not click on the videos to start playing them. Only when you play the videos the data referred to in the next paragraph will be transferred to YouTube. We have no influence on this data transfer. YouTube sets cookies to track the usage of its services. The YouTube Cookies are only installed when you press play. By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This is independent of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website.   •  Pixel Facebook
The Website uses “Custom Audience pixel” and “Conversion tracking pixel” (jointly, “Facebook Pixel”) of Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) (“Facebook”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is on the one hand able to determine the visitors of our online offer as a target group for the presentation of advertisements (“Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display our Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our website or who have specific characteristics (e. g. interests in certain topics or products determined by the websites visited) that we submit to Facebook (so-called “custom audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to make sure that our Facebook ads are in line with the potential interest of users and do not have a nuisance effect. Using the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion tracking”). The Facebook pixel (i.e., a small piece of JavaScript code) is directly integrated (added) into our website by Facebook.   • LinkedIn Pixel
The Website uses the marketing functions (so-called “LinkedIn Insight Tag” or Linkedin Pixel) of the network LinkedIn, provided by LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Similar to the Facebook Pixel, the LinkedIn Pixel is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that we have added to our Website to enable in-depth campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our LinkedIn adverts. The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a visitor’s browser until they delete the cookie or the cookie expires. Each time you access one of our pages that contains LinkedIn’s features, a connection is established to a LinkedIn server. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag we are able to analyze the success of our campaigns within the LinkedIn platform or determine target groups for them based on the interaction of the users with our website. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides us with cloud storage services. AWS has demonstrated compliance with a range of internationally recognized standards for content, data, and infrastructure security, such as information security management.
